Plan B for your wedding

We’ll never get tired of repeating to our couples how important is to have a plan B for your wedding day.

We know you’re coming to Italy because you want to get married outside and would like to have an alfresco dinner. Maybe you’re not even thinking that bad weather is possible on your special day. But unfortunately, with the weather there’s nothing we can do and we cannot guarantee your wedding day will be sunny and with no rain. From June to early September (and especially in July and August) there are less chances of rain but you never know. There could be some storms around that may affect your reception for few hours. Or, there could be a strong wind that doesn’t allow you to eat outside.

Bad weather doesn’t have to ruin your marriage and the best way is preventing this thinking in advance about a plan B for your wedding day.

For this reason, we always recommend to book a venue that has a good plan B for your wedding reception. There are plenty of places that will offer you a covered solution for your wedding reception, especially if you’re a small group of people.

While if the venue you book doesn’t have indoor options, or they’re too small for your number of guests, you could always hire a marquee. There are a lot of different types of gazebos nowadays. Of course, it’s an extra cost you need to add on top of all the other expenses and it’s something you need to book months before the big day. This because if you decide to have it at very last minute, based on the weather forecasts, you risk that you don’t find anything available or that you’ll spend a higher amount of money in it.
